    Distinguished First Party Property Defense Litigation Law Firm with office in FORT LAUDERDALE is seeking an experienced First Party Property Attorney to join their team REMOTELY. Specializing in defending homeowners insurance carriers against claims from policyholders due to property damage such as hurricanes, storms, wind, and water damage in residential and commercial properties. (This position is 100% REMOTE).

    ***IDEAL Candidates have at least 2 years of experience in First Party Property Litigation in FLORIDA* (Plaintiff's or Defense) and have handled multiple cases for trial and/or conducted trials.***

    While primarily a DEFENSE firm, candidates with experience in First Party Property PLAINTIFF'S cases will also be considered. Trial Attorneys with background in Personal Injury or Bodily Injury are welcome if interested in expanding into property cases.

    SALARY: Range: $90,000 - $170,000 (depending on experience, to be assessed during interviews)

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: defending insurance carriers in significant property damage cases from initial pleadings to trial. Tasks include written discovery, depositions, mediation, preparing expert witnesses, client meetings, drafting legal documents, court appearances, legal research, settlement negotiations, and managing case files efficiently. Must handle a high number of cases independently, demonstrating strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
