The role and responsibilities are focused on but not limited to the Southern California area and the west coast market.
You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and vertical transportation experience on a wide range of projects and assume a leadership position as you expand an existing external client base.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in the pursuit and design of international projects.Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Vertical Transportation Consultant, you will collaborate with our national Vertical Transportation team and manage the design and engineering of vertical transportation systems for a variety of projects (aviation, healthcare, education, commercial) for our Los Angeles and other offices.
You will represent the Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members.You will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and assigning various projects to be performed by the team (i.e., system design and project development).Additional responsibilities includeWork in close contact with the entire design team to maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades/projects consultantsMonitor all correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, owners, etc.
Prepare proposals and administering project contracts between Syska and the client,Assume responsible charge for the overall economic well-being of the assigned projectsParticipate in QA/QC process of completed work by staffPrepare vertical transportation analysis and perform system design calculationsSelect equipment for use in building systems and write reportsMarket capabilities both to internal and external clientsJob RequirementsSuccessful candidates for the Vertical Transportation Consultant role should have the ability to oversee entire team and coordinate design and engineering of vertical transportation system.
Someone who exhibits a basic understanding of the practical application of Vertical Transportation principals to our building designs would be a good fit for this dynamic role.
