About the Job:
Assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Will be in direct supervision of Licensed Respiratory therapists/technicians.
Education:
Enrolled in an accredited Respiratory Care programLicenses/Certifications: Certification in BLS required (AHA or Red Cross)NRP, PALS and ACLS certifications required within 12 months of hireTo define excellence, and give hope, from our family to yours is our mission at Tennova Healthcare
