Job Description:
Automation Quality Assurance Engineer (or SDET)

• The intended automation framework and necessary testing tools must be developed, implemented, and maintained under Azure Stack.

Thus, a broad knowledge of Azure services, functions, and tools is required.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to streamline repetitive testing processes and not limited to regression.

• Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and issues.

Collaborate with development teams to communicate bug reports, providing detailed information on the circumstances of defect occurrences and potential solutions.

• Work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand technical requirements, provide input on design considerations, and participate in discussions about software functionality.
• Some knowledge in evaluating software performance by conducting load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Contribute to the improvement of software development processes by providing feedback on areas for enhancement.

Propose and implement best practices, standards, and tools to optimize the QA workflow.

• Integrate quality assurance processes into automated build and deployment pipelines.

Ensure testing is seamlessly integrated into the development workflow, allowing for rapid and reliable software releases.
