About the unit
The Mother Baby Care Unit is a 28-bed unit that cares for postpartum patients and newborns.Includes rotation within the maternal child health units with training.
Provides care to the patient according to the plan of care, unit routine and hospital policy under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire
- Current CNA certification preferred
