    Description
    Insurance defense litigation firm is seeking a highly motivated full-time personal injury litigation paralegal. The successful applicant must be able to draft and respond to discovery; summarize and analyze medical records, discovery responses, deposition transcripts, and demands; prepare case/claim analysis reports; and interact with clients in a deadline-oriented environment. Prior experience in motion work is not a requirement.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Draft pleadings, discovery, medical and discovery summaries, demands and other legal documents.
    • Draft discovery motions, oppositions, and reply's
    • Coordinate, assemble and prepare documents for production and proceedings.
    • Investigating facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare case analysis reports and determine causes of action.
    • Communicate with clients, when necessary.
    • Work in a team-based structure.
    Skills/Qualifications:
    • 3-7 years of experience litigation (required).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, writing and analytical skills.
    • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and ensure timely completion.
    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal court rules and filing procedures.
    • Works independently with minimal supervision and instruction.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc. and Adobe).
    • Has a team-player attitude and is reliable.
    Required Education:
    • Associate or Bachelor's degree.
    • ABA Paralegal Certificate.

    • The hourly range in California for this role is $ $35.00 and represents the firm's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidates experience, qualifications and location.
