    As the Senior Technical Delivery Manager on the MarTech (Marketing Technology) Orchestration Product team you will lead the marketing workflow management (MRM), campaign management, marketing automation and orchestration teams to support Vanguards digital and non-digital marketing and customer experiences. You will bring extensive knowledge of MarTech and marketing to drive business outcomes through integration and automation of Salesforce marketing cloud, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), campaign management platforms and the Adobe marketing cloud. You will actively partner with the Product Manager and product owner across the Orchestration family to develop and build the engineering and platform subject matter expertise required to support Vanguards digital engagement, segmentation and marketing automation needs.

    **In this role, you will:**

    Collaborate and consult with internal marketing, MarTech and advertising teams, as well as external advertising agencies to develop, implement and manage modern campaign management, segmentation and audience selection

You will bring extensive knowledge of MarTech and marketing to drive business outcomes through integration and automation of Salesforce marketing cloud, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), campaign management platforms and the Adobe marketing cloud. You will actively partner with the Product Manager and product owner across the Orchestration family to develop and build the engineering and platform subject matter expertise required to support Vanguards digital engagement, segmentation and marketing automation needs.

    **In this role, you will:**

    Collaborate and consult with internal marketing, MarTech and advertising teams, as well as external advertising agencies to develop, implement and manage modern campaign management, segmentation and audience selection strategies, messaging (email, SMS, Push, in App) journeys and channel execution.

    Act as a Solution Architect, providing technical guidance on how to use and integration different MarTech platforms.

    Identify and develop integrated technology solutions to meet marketing objectives and drive business outcomes.

    Identify and resolves technical issues and develop and implement continuous improvements and innovation in support of marketing automation and orchestration.

    Hire, evaluate, and lead a team of campaign management, marketing automation and orchestration platform engineers and subject matter experts. Define skill requirements for each team member and measure team member skills to define development and upskilling plans.

    Set performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

    Maintain knowledge of the latest MarTech and marketing technology platforms to drive business outcomes and support next level digital marketing needs

    Develop and lead strategic and operational plans, based on defined Outcomes & Key Results (OKRs).

    Understand and follow IT policies and procedures, Enterprise Data Governance, Privacy, Legal, and Information Security policies and procedures, and verifies deliverables meet requirements.

    Manage third-party vendors like Adobe, HCL, Salesforce, Moveable Ink, Persado to ensure successful partnerships and business outcomes.

    Maintain working knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Customer Data Platforms (CDP) and Identity Resolution Platforms (IDR), Unica/Interact and Adobe Workfront to meet and exceed the needs of Vanguard marketing teams.

    **What it takes:**

    10 to 15+ years of professional IT experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience managing, hiring, and developing employees and contractors

    3 to 5+ years prior experience in marketing or MarTech

    3+ years hands on experience with campaign management and customer segmentation tools, including oner or more of the following: Adobe AEP and Audience Manager, HCL Unica/Interact, Salesforce Audience Builder preferred

    3+ years hands on experience and deep platform expertise with messaging technology and email service provider platforms (ESP), Salesforce marketing cloud preferred

    Marketing acumen and understanding of how to integrate and leverage MarTech platforms to automate and orchestrate complex customer engagement and marketing communication strategies

    The ability to translate marketing use cases and business requirements into technical specifications, platform configurations, and scalable and practical solutions that deliver business outcomes

    Strong process knowledge and orientation to deliver business outcomes

    5+ years utilizing Agile development practices, including scrum, Kanban and lean

    Experience using modern software development and engineering practices, including DevOps, test automation and test-driven development, Site Reliability Engineering

    Strong written and verbal communication skills. The ability to present to technical and non-technical platform users, stakeholders and executive audiences

    Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience

    **What sets you apart:**

    Hands on experience with marketing workflow management platforms, Adobe Workfront, Aprimo, Airtable preferred

    Knowledge of customer data platforms (CDP) and Identity Resolution Platforms, Adobe AEP and Amperity preferred

    Familiarity with data driven marketing and use of data to automate marketing interaction and orchestration

    Experience with customer data platforms (CDP) in a large enterprise environment

    Experience with consent and preference management platforms, OneTrust preferred

    Familiarity with email and messaging personalization tools and platform integrations, Persado and Moveable Ink preferred

    Familiarity with omni-channel journey analytics and orchestration platforms such as Kitewheel, Pointillist, Thunderhead, UserMind

    Familiarity with Web Analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics

    Familiarity with advanced marketing analytics products such as Amplitude

    Familiarity with ML driven decision management platforms such as Pega Systems, Oracle
