Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director - Payroll Operations, the Payroll Assistant performs clerical and technical duties relating to classified and certificated employee payroll.

This entry-level position provides support to the activities of the Payroll Specialist and Sr. Payroll Specialist positions by relieving them of the more routine and tracking functions of payroll activities.

This position also assists by providing basic information and assistance to employees and the general public, referring more difficult questions to Payroll Specialist positions.
