Tutera manages and operates 60 communities in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Illinois, Oklahoma, Indiana, Louisiana, Alabama and South CarolinaThe Payroll Specialist is responsible for carrying out payroll tasks for the company in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws.
Review documents from assigned communitiesConfirm data sets and manual checks are in transactions
Clean up of data sets and manual checks
Balance Check Register preview & Total Hours summary
Create, download, and save payroll reports
Process Direct Deposit returns
Set up of Weekend Warrior and Baylor
Deduct and remit Union Dues, provide reports to Union
Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) monthly filing
Auditing Pay Class, Labor Allocation, and Process Schedule
Other special projects as assigned
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Must have superior computer skills.
Prior experience in LTC/SNF payroll preferred.
Working knowledge of payroll and timekeeping systems preferred.
