    ZAI is seeking a Sr. Technical Analyst to provide support to the PHNSY Availability Maintenance Manager.


    Primary duties will include:


    Research and prepare weekly reports on key maintenance issues and availability schedule status for Pearl Harbor submarine major availabilities for inclusion in the COMSUBPAC Pearl Harbor Shipyard Representative (CSP N43C) weekly letter to COMSUBPAC leadership .

    Provide submarine ship's force 3M and Reactor Plant maintenance item inputs into to the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard availability scheduling tools


    Manage edits and updates to the joint Submarine Shipyard Availability Manual (SSAM), in coordination with the COMSUBPAC Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Representative staff.


    Support CSP N43C at Pearl Harbor Navy Shipyard submarine availability maintenance status, special projects, critical path, focus, and planning meetings in person or remotely.

    Support the COMSUBPAC Pearl Harbor Shipyard Representative staff monitoring submarine waterfront activities .

    Perform liaison duties with shipyard shops and codes.

    Research issues for the COMSUBPAC Pearl Harbor Shipyard Representative and present shipyard's proposed resolutions to issues affecting submarines in Pearl Harbor Shipyard availabilities .

    Research past availability schedules and provide schedule and lessons learned data to submarine Commanding Officers .

    Review incoming classified and unclassified correspondence and Naval Messages.

    Draft outgoing classified and unclassified correspondence for

    COMSUBPAC Pearl Harbor Shipyard Representative (CSP N43C) on submarine maintenance topics.

    The position also requires fa

    miliarity with scheduling and planning software; effective Interpersonal skills; and competency with the MS Office software suite.


    Experience required:
    Experience on Navy Echelon III or IV Command staffs or Navy Shipyard management.

    Greater than 7 years experience in Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program.


    Greater than 1 year experience on a submarine project (ship's force or shipyard project team) in a major shipyard availability.


    This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance and access to Navy Nuclear Propulsion Information.
