    Pediatric Med Surg Registered Nurse

    We are actively hiring for a Registered Nurse - Pediatric Med Surg position at our hospital in Portland, OR.

    Job Details:

    • Shifts: Day shift, night shift, and mid shift available
    • Job types: Full time, part time, and per diem

    About the Role:

    This is a fantastic opportunity to work with children and their families in a dynamic pediatric medical surgical unit. As a Registered Nurse - Pediatric Med Surg, you will collaborate with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.

    Your Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with other healthcare team members
    2. Assess, plan, and implement care for individual patients ages 0-18
    3. Document all patient encounters accurately
    4. Educate young patients and their families about their condition and care plan
    5. Promote wellness and recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs

    Requirements:

    • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
    • ADN or higher degree in nursing
    • BLS certification
    • 1 year of experience in a pediatric setting preferred
    • ACLS, PALS certification preferred
