    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience, working day shifts in a hospital mammography unit serving an adult to geriatric patient population.

    Responsibilities
    Hospital-based mammography unit serving adult and geriatric patients
    4x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
    No weekend shifts required
    No on-call requirements
    May float within the facility per scope of practice, including to a mobile mammography unit
    Epic EMR
    Shocking pink scrubs required
    RTO maximum of 7 days for the assignment; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
    RTO blackout dates apply during Spring Break (April 4–12)
    Travelers are expected to work all major holidays that fall within their assignment period if one or two occur; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them
    Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
    Candidates must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler
    Local candidates are accepted
    Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred for consideration
    No special scheduling or alternate shift requests are permitted — the posted shift is firm

    Requirements
    Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
    Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
    License required if applicable
    First-time travelers are welcome to apply
