    MUST HAVE:
    5+ years of Civil engineering experience

    Bachelors degree in civil engineering or related field

    Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification

    Ability to Obtain a Professional Engineer License (PE) within a year

    As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in collaborating

    with the sales team, vendors, and project teams. This hands-on

    position involves managing 25+ projects at various stages, with

    project durations ranging from 6 to 18 months. The typical day

    includes project team meetings, spending most of the time in the

    office, and less time on-site. The position encompasses project

    planning, design, preparation of construction documents and

    reports, oversight of construction projects, and client contact

    related to projects.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelors Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a

    related field.

    Civil 3D/AutoCAD knowledge and proficiency.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills (required).

    Ability to keep clear and concise project records and files.

    Up to 10 years of civil engineering design experience

    preferred/desired.

    Iowa PE license or EIT certification or the ability to obtain

    either within 6 months preferred.


    Responsibilities:
    Prepare detailed technical engineering reports.

    Prepare plans and specifications for specific projects.

    Work with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians during all

    facets of construction.

    Assist the Project Manager in completing projects within budget

    and on schedule.

    Lead the creation of project proposals.

    Lead portions of or entire project teams in planning, design, and

    construction.

    Engage in client contact, including attendance at board or council

    meetings.

    Manage projects, ensuring successful completion on time and within

    budget.

    Guide staff and/or utilize Civil3D for plan preparation.
