- GED or High School Diploma required, AAS preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years of business experience. College degree in business, science, or related field preferred.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather, skid resistant work shoes/boots;
- Ability to apply basic computer and communication skills, math functions and reasoning;
- Ability to use various hand tools (knife, water house, band cutters, can opener, scales Telnet scanners, various hand tolls, as required for position/product testing);
- A continuous learning, and improvement, mindset is a must; there are many opportunities to learn and develop at BRF, but the individual needs to be motivated to engage in those opportunities.
- Effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Willingness to offer suggestions on ways to improve assigned work.
- Ability to follow and implement written or oral instructions.

WHAT WE NEED
The Regulatory Specialist is vital to the success of our production function. A successful individual will participate in and is responsible to ensure successful and accurate application of various food safety systems in our production environments. Responsibility includes reviewing and reporting on the following: supplier and production food safety records and data, incoming materials, and nonconforming materials. This role also participates in and supports in-plant audits by various customers and agencies, as well as participating in and supporting food safety and quality business systems.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
At BRF, base pay is one part of our total compensation package. The base pay for this role is $23.90/hour.
