    Everything we do is about Making Better HappenTM.AAK Richmond*Richmond, Ca*About the role*The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a geographic territory, establishing, maintaining and cultivating business/customer relations, recommending new products for development and managing pricing and profitability.*Responsibilities*The duties of the Account Manager include but are not limited to:SalesMaintaining and growing value-based customer relationships that will make AAK a trusted partner with its chosen customers and will translate into meeting or exceeding annual sales budget.

    Formulate pricing / negotiate contracts and supply agreements.
    Work with sourcing & trading group to provide raw material market information and/or presentations to customers.
    Penetrate customer functional areas inclusive of Product Development/R&D and Procurement.
    Prepare annual territory strategic plans to execute upon organizational goals.
    Prepare Account Plans for all key accounts in the territory.
    Meet or exceed financial targets.
    Provide technical and commercial feedback to customers as needed.
    Align AAK US or global technical resources with our customers technical groups on a select basis.
    Manage territory travel and expense vs budget.
    Working closely with customers to uncover solutions to challenges around formulations.
    Work in a fast-paced environment and manage crisis as needed.
    Targeted Assignments.
    Business development activities to uncover new segments and channels.
    Collect market related data as needed.
    Training as required*About youBA/BS degree, preferably in a Scientific field

    • 3+ years sales experience preferred. Strong consideration for a technical background and no sales experience.
