    Description

    Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute announces a search for a Director of Neuropsychology in Las Vegas, with clinical interest and experience in neurological diseases including Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, Parkinson's disease, and Multiple Sclerosis. This individual will join the staff of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health (LRCBH) in Las Vegas, Nevada and will lead an established program consisting of 3 neuropsychologists and 3 psychometricians. The neuropsychology group interacts with neurologists, psychiatrists, health psychologists, neurorehabilitation therapists, and brain imaging experts in an outpatient setting, and has an established clinical practicum and postdoctoral fellowship.

    Primary responsibilities will include programmatic oversight, strategic expansion of current programs, and mentorship and development of junior staff. Clinical service including neuropsychological assessment with the assistance of a technician, including clinical interview, report writing, and providing feedback to patients, families, and referring providers is expected. Educational responsibilities include training LRCBH postdoctoral clinical neuropsychology fellows and University of Nevada, Las Vegas practicum students. LRCBH also has an established research infrastructure, with abundant opportunities to lead and/or join ongoing research projects and develop new research. Opportunities to work with professional athletes may also be available.

    Applicants should have completed a doctoral degree from an APA or CPA-accredited program in clinical psychology and a postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in neuropsychology. Eligibility for licensure in Nevada is essential, with the expectation of the successful candidate having, or pursuing board certification in clinical neuropsychology. Competitive applicants will have at least 5 years of independent professional practice and evidence of administrative and leadership experience. Individuals able to provide clinical services in Spanish are especially encouraged to apply, as opportunities to lead a developing Spanish language neuropsychology program are available.
