    Position Overview:

    The Talent Acquisition & Talent Management Associate is responsible for attracting talent to The Carroll Companies. The TA/TM Associate is required develop, cultivate, and manage business relationships within the community. This position is also expected to provide excellent service and recruitment expertise to all assigned hiring managers, across all operating companies. This position will be primarily stationed in Greensboro NC, with a commute to CarrollWood Farms in Sandy Ridge, NC as needed.

    Successful Candidate will:

    • Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable laws and company policies, with regard to all talent acquisition responsibilities
    • Demonstrate the ability to articulate feedback to all candidates in a professional and timely manner, as well as demonstrate the ability to address candidate challenges. ie.) conflict resolution.
    • With supervision, develop innovative yet targeted sourcing initiatives and develop a solid pipeline of qualified candidates at all times.
    • Maintain personal networks and participate in professional organizations
    • Manage vendor relationships to support recruitment activities
    • Ability to travel to area career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.

    Additional Recruiting Job Responsibilities:

    • Create and monitor job postings on all digital/online recruitment platforms
    • Source potential candidates for vacant positions using online resume banks, LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, , etc.
    • Schedule initial phone screens as well as Manager and in-person interviews for department managers as necessary
    • Conduct reference checks for each new hire
    • Liaise with new company hires to ensure the completion of all hiring paperwork and other hiring processes
    • Assist the Talent Acquisition dept in brainstorming and implementing new strategies for attracting quality talent to fill the company's immediate and future staffing needs
    • Build a deep expertise on the business units you serve to be able to anticipate with Workforce Planning, Organizational Development, and Strategic Initiatives
    • Attend networking events.
    • Special Projects as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
    • Ability to develop strong business relationships and manage expectations
    • Staffing management and planning experience is preferred
    • Strong communication skills, critical thinking and efficient time management strengths
    • Quick study with the ability to multi task, learn and adapt quickly
    • Thoroughness, follow through, well organized, with a strong work ethic
    • Good judgment and mature emotional intelligence.
    • Valid drivers license and use of personal vehicle required
