    Description

    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Daily cleaning of resident rooms.
    • Daily cleaning of common spaces like hall areas, elevators, etc.
    • Organizing Housekeeping storage room.
    • Following proper safety precautions with procedures, supplies, and chemicals.
    • Assisting other staff with deep-cleaning tasks.
    • Reporting repair and maintenance issues.
    • Supporting other projects as required.

    Requirements:

    • Able to interact effectively with staff, residents, and family members.
    • Communicating with the Housekeeping Supervisor regarding project needs.
    • Ability to focus, understand, and recall task instructions.
    • Willingness to uphold Park Village Pines' Mission Statement.
    • Physical Requirements:
      • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
      • Pushing/pulling carts of 50-75 lbs on wheeled casters over carpeted floors.
      • Frequently bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and climbing stairs.
      • Ability to be on feet for up to 100% of an 8-hour shift.
      • Wearing gloves and other protective gear as necessary.
      • Reading small print on equipment and written materials.
      • Dealing with hazardous chemicals with proper care.
