- Install, configure, and maintain CICS software and related components
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Perform system upgrades and apply patches as necessary
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of CICS with other systems
- Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures
- Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
- Provide technical support to endusers and assist with problem resolution
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in mainframe administration
- Strong knowledge of mainframe systems, particularly CICS
- Experience with load balancing techniques in a mainframe environment
- Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and other database management systems
- Familiarity with operating systems such as ESXi
- Understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
