    Opportunity:

    RN - PCU

    Job Details:


    • Work in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with ED hold float position

    • Patient ratio of 4-6:1 depending on patient mix

    • 2 years of PCU experience required (ED experience not required as no floating to ED)

    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

    • Dress code: Galaxy Blue & White scrubs required

    • Care for adult and geriatric patient population

    • Electronic Medical Record system: Epic

    • Must be flexible to float as required, including to sister campuses

    • Florida or Compact nursing license required with recent Nursys verification

    • Degree accreditation must be on profile OR must have 5 years of experience

    • Function as core staff and integrate into unit culture

    • Travelers are first to float when floating is needed

    • All schedule requests and time off must be submitted at time of application

    • Hard document deadline is Monday prior to start date with no exceptions

    This healthcare facility operates a Progressive Care Unit providing intermediate-level care between intensive care and medical-surgical units. The organization utilizes Epic electronic medical record system and maintains a collaborative culture where traveling nurses are welcomed and expected to integrate as core team members.
