    Our client designs, manufactures and installs automated conveyor systems for distribution centers, retail stores and industrial laundries. Their conveyor systems are often tailor-made. Their sales are mainly centered in the USA and Canada, but they also have customers all around the world.
    Our clients are currently looking for a Market Development Manager to join their team. They are in the midst of rapid growth
    Responsibilities

    Market Research:
    Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential customers, key industry trends, and competitive landscape.

    Brand Awareness:

    Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company's brand visibility in the United States and Canada through various channels such as social media, industry publications, trade shows, and networking events.

    This will be done in collaboration with the marketing coordinator.

    Lead Generation:

    Proactively generate leads and nurture relationships with potential clients through targeted outreach campaigns, email marketing, cold calling, and other innovative approaches.


    Client Engagement:

    Initiate and maintain regular communication with prospects to understand their specific needs, provide product information, and offer tailored solutions that address their challenges.


    Meeting Booking:
    Utilize effective sales techniques to secure appointments with decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.

    Sales Closure:

    Collaborate closely with the sales team to facilitate the closing of deals, negotiate terms, and ensure a seamless transition from lead to customer.


    Reporting:

    Keep detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market developments, providing regular updates and insights to the management team.

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
    Strong understanding of the United States and Canadian markets, with the ability to identify key players and emerging opportunities.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients at all levels.
    Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and drive results in a remote environment.
    Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and Microsoft Office suite.
    Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned territories.
