    About the role


    Under direction of the Supply Chain Manager, this position is responsible to assist and support the Supply team by completing all essential functions in a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented manner.

    Key responsibilities


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:


    • Review daily MRP Material Activity Report for material requirements, generate PO's to meet current as well as planned requirements for raw materials based upon system recommendations and usage history.


    • Follow up with suppliers for expected delivery dates.


    • Arrange freight for loads other than delivered terms.


    • Notify production planner of material delays when discovered.


    • Arrange replacement materials to prevent shortages and stock outs.


    • Review material rejections with QC and initiate return to vendor authorizations. Coordinate return of rejected materials to suppliers.


    • Review and respond to all invoice discrepancies and receipt discrepancies within 24 hours.


    • Make recommendations related to raw material data (lead times/reorder points) in accordance with Kerry's goals for inventory investment levels.


    • Request and process samples, product documentation.


    • Reporting including daily metrics, raw material housekeeping lists, inbound freight issue tracking and other reporting as required.


    • Seek involvement in continuous improvement activities and processes to support organizational progress on safety, quality, customer service and cost goals.


    • Attend all safety meetings, report any safety incidents/accidents and understand and follow all company and plant safety policies and procedures.


    • Trained in Kerry HACCP program in order to identify critical steps and other instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.

    Qualifications and skills



    • Associates Degree Business or related field preferred


    • APICS certification is a plus.


    • SAP experience will be a plus.

    • 2 - 4 years' experience in Purchasing, Planning, or related business experience.
