    Description

    We are growing and looking to hire a part-time pediatric, certified polish dental assistant.

    The ideal candidate is an upbeat, professional and reliable person who is looking to work in a multi-specialty office who sees patients of all ages.



    Dental Assistant

    • Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
    • Explaining office procedures before treatment to patients.
    • Providing quality and compassionate care to every patient before, during and after dental treatment.
    • Patient management during dental procedures.
    • Dental charting of patient's pre existing and accurate inputting of patient progress notes.
    • Providing patients with post op instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling).
    • Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth).
    • Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
    • Taking and developing x rays, collecting and recording patient health histories.
    • Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
    • Monitor equipment and hand piece repairs for all operatory equipment, accurate completion and follow up of repair logs.
    • Completion of daily/weekly/monthly tasks including autoclave testing and cleaning of traps.
    • Assisting with monthly supply order.
    • Assisting clinic with recall and treatment plan reports, when requested.
    • Responsible for adhering to all government and company regulations.
    • Helping to provide direct patient care in all dental specialities, including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery.
