    Responsibilities

    With oversight and direction from the Program Director(s), the Program Coordinator is responsible for the operational functions of the accredited GME training programs.

    The position requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the national accreditation policies and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

    The Program Coordinator should be organized in planning, assisting with maintaining continuing accreditation, recruiting of trainees, projects, analyzing and maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues and managing internal and external program relations.

    Should have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and GME databases.
    Qualifications
    Education and Work Experience

    • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) experience.2. ACGME experience required.3. TAGME certification preferred.4. Experience with New Innovations5. ERAS preferred.
