Director, Finance - Greeneville, TNJob Purpose/Scope:
The Director of Finance serves as a key member of the ARTAZN Executive Team, directly supporting the President. Provides leadership role in financial decision-making that affects our company and provides strategic financial input to senior management.
Oversees the overall accounting, purchasing and information technology process, manages and implements financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the company.
JobDuties/Responsibilities:
Partner with ARTAZN President and leadership team to develop and implement strategic planning and continue to capitalize on new business and market opportunities
Drive financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, and initiating corrective actions
Develop financial strategies by contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction
Provide vision and leadership to drive the long and short-range information system plans to support business objectives and key initiatives for ARTAZN
Lead analysis and planning related to organic and inorganic growth opportunities
Lead and direct the finance function in the areas of financial management, analysis, budgeting, planning, reporting and maintaining internal controls.
Ensure effectiveness of cash and treasury matters, A/P, A/R, etc.Oversee all accounting and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with all appropriate ARTAZN and government agency policies, accounting rules and regulatory requirement
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory actions
Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization
Lead and develop a high-performing global finance organization; mentor and develop the team regarding talent management, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation and enabling of effective teamwork
Act as the primary corporate representative with banks, accounting firms, insurance companies, legal counsel, and tax authorities
Manufacturing experience with more complex products having longer manufacturing terms and their unique cost structures
Provide leadership and strategic direction for ARTAZN procurement operations
Oversight of all purchasing to ensure inventory is managed at level that meets customers' needs, while minimizing overhead and raw material costs to meet established financial benchmarks.
Drives key measures of purchasing department performanceEducation/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree and/or CPA preferred
Minimum 5 years of management over direct reports and have performed in a similar capacity to this role at a previous organization.
Demonstrated success in a complex, global manufacturing environmentTrack record as an operationally oriented executive and business partner, able to drive performance from a finance leadership perspective.
Experience leading capital budgeting for organic and inorganic growth initiatives
Skills - Success as a strategic thinker and experienced in developing business and financial plans for short- and long-term results.
Demonstrated creative problem solving and strong analytical and negotiating skills with a high-performance standard.Track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
Proven ability to interact and influence at all organizational levels.
Self-directed, positive, and ethical role model with professional credibility, accountability, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Excellent communication and listening skills, an orientation to details, and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
