    _Sign-on Bonus - $800 Full Time/$400 Part Time_
    _Salary range: $ $24.00 hourly_
    Family ACCESS of Newton is seeking qualified, caring EEC certified Toddler Teachers to join a talented team of early childhood professionals


    Why You Should Apply:


    • A consistent weekly schedule with weekly planning time in a threeteacher classroom team
    • Full time shifts: 8hour shift (includes a 30 min paid break) or a 9hour shift (includes a one hour paid break)
    • Parttime shifts: either 2:00 pm 6:00 pm or 3:30 pm 6:00 pm
    • Onsite paid professional development
    • Comprehensive benefits package offered (working minimum 2025 hours/week) with 80% employer contribution for medical insurance, as well as dental insurance, flexible spending and retirement saving accounts
    • 12 paid holidays plus 2 paid weeks for EEC closure (winter and summer break)
    • 22 days paid Earned Time Off (ETO).
    • Competitive salary with a signon bonus

    Qualifications For Success

    • MA EEC infant/Toddler Teacher certifications.
    • Flexible team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to bend, stand, squat, stoop, walk, occasionally run, and lift up to 35 pounds.
    • Must be vaccinated against COVID19, vaccination in process, or have an approved exemption.

    • Create an educational environment that is inquiry and play based, emergent, challenging and inviting.
    • Provide a nurturing, individualized approach to teaching toddlers.
    • Value diversity and be curious and respectful of differences between individuals, families, and cultures.
    • Continue to learn and grow as a professional in the field of early childhood education.

    Family ACCESS is a community-based non-profit organization that empowers and strengthens families through a set of four integrated programs: The Family ACCESS Early Learning Center, Family ACCESS Early Literacy Services, Family ACCESS Counseling and Consultation Services, and CAP Child Assault Prevention, a program of Family ACCESS.

    For over 100 years, the organization has served thousands of families, regardless of their economic status, from Newton and neighboring towns.


    The word ACCESS is an acronym of the phrase "A Center for Comprehensive Education and Support Services", a phrase that clearly defines the organization's work in the community.
