    Looking for a Certified Fiber Optic Cable Installer in Plano, TX

    We need skilled Data Cable Installers for our cutting-edge data center. Your role involves installing and managing data cables to connect network switches in our data center frames, ensuring network reliability. You will be setting up 72 size frames with 1K cables each, connecting 42U frames with 500 to 1100 connections each. Using pre-cut looped fiber is essential while adhering to looming standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and maintain data cables for network switches.

    Certifications:

    • FOA Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) - General fiber optics knowledge and practices.
    • FOA Certified Premises Cabling Technician (CPCT) - Focuses on fiber, copper, and wireless installation.
    • FOA Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Testing & Maintenance (CFOS/T) - Specialized in testing and troubleshooting fiber optic systems.
    • FOA Certified Fiber Optic Specialist, Outside Plant (CFOS/O) - Focuses on outside plant fiber optics.
    • Perform cable routing, management, and labeling.
    • Conduct testing and troubleshooting for network performance.
    • Collaborate with network engineers for structured cabling systems.
    • Document installation processes and maintain network records.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and security regulations.
    • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and operations.
    • Ability to interpret technical documentation and diagrams.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with large data center projects.
    • Additional certifications in network engineering.
    • Familiarity with network management tools.
