    We are looking for a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant is responsible for clinical and administrative tasks within their scope of practice.

    The Medical Assistant follows standard operating procedures that support achieving the Quadruple Aim:
    improved outcomes, improved patient experience, improved clinician experience and decreased cost of care. The Medical Assistant fulfills a key patient facing role in P3's team approach to care delivery.
    Completion of Medical Assistant course of study, or equivalent experience
    Experience applying medical management treatment guidelines and nationally recognized criteria, such as InterQual / McKesson, MCG, or other practical management guidelines required
    Proficiency with computer, software programs (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel) and internet required
    Knowledge of medical terminology required
    Promote the mission, vision and values of P3 Health Partners

    recording medical history; Perform administrative duties such as chart preparation, answering phones, form completion, scheduling appointments, process direct referrals and schedules follow-up appointments.

    Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
