    Job Description

    ARM Group LLC is seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager who will collaborate with a team of multi-disciplined engineers and scientists, project managers, CAD designers, and other staff to service our client's needs. In this role you will manage the scope development, staffing, implementation and reporting of a wide range of projects related to environmental services, site remediation, and brownfields redevelopment. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, resourceful, well-organized, and cooperative producer and manager that is able to meet project goals, schedules, and budgets.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that all projects are completed safely.
    • Manage and coordinate the investigation, development, design and permitting of multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Develop Scopes of Work and budgets for Environmental Site Assessments and Remedial Actions.
    • Prepare designs and permit applications to acquire approvals from regulatory bodies.
    • Maintain complicated schedules, develop project timelines, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage people and materials to complete jobs on schedule and within budget.
    • Act as the direct point of contact in communication with clients and stakeholders.
    • Assess and mitigate project risks.
    • Prepare detailed models and technical documents to present project design/feasibility findings to stakeholders.
    • Assist the ARM business development team, including the preparation of detailed technical proposals.
    • Perform and/or check technical calculations and prepare project specifications.
    • Prepare reports, client communications, proposals, contract documents, etc., and consults with other internal partners as needed.
    • Monitoring project work progress, adhering to the scope of work and communicating with key stakeholders including the client, regulators, and subcontractors.
    • Pro-actively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature and develop effective solutions.
    Job Requirements

    Base Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science required.
    • P.G. or P.E. registration required.
    • 5+ years of related experience including hands on project management.
    • Excellent communication and public speaking skills: articulate, assertive, and confident.
    • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects.
    • Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills.
    • Ambitious and eager to grow.
    • Detail-oriented and thorough.
    • Strong work ethic and self-motivated mentality.
    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with key stakeholders, including local, county and state officials, environmental regulators, to exchange information, explain the project, gain permit approvals, and to coordinate compliance efforts.
    • Must have strong technical competency and analytical ability.
    • Must be able to work independently and collaborate with peers when appropriate.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
    • Experience managing vendor and client payment terms to achieve positive cash flow.
    • Understanding of financial models and budget management.
    • Proficient in GIS, MS Office Suite, and other industry-specific software.
    Preferred Requirements/Experience:
    • Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science.
    • Experience supporting Voluntary Clean-Up Program (e.g., ACT 2, VCP, VRP) projects, preparation of Health and Safety Plans, soil & groundwater investigations, soil vapor and surface & source water sampling and monitoring, PCB Sampling, Lead and ACM characterization, regulatory waste determination, contingency planning, hazardous materials surveys, environmental due diligence, preparation of Remedial Action Plans and Human Health Risk Assessments.
