- Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Providing specially designed instruction tailored to meet individual student needs
- Using data, progress monitoring, and ongoing assessment to inform instruction and adjust supports
- Collaborating closely with general education teachers to support inclusive practices and differentiated instruction
- Coordinating related services and communicating regularly with service providers
- Building positive, proactive partnerships with families
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance records
- Supporting school-wide initiatives and contributing to a positive, student-centered culture
- Engaging in continuous professional learning and reflective practice
- Valid New Hampshire Special Education certification (qualifies for a Statement of Eligibility)
- Knowledge of special education law, IEP development, and evidence-based instructional practices
- Strong organizational, case management, and communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive practices, social-emotional learning, and student-centered instruction
