- Deliver timely and high-quality repairs to equipment while following safety protocols and quality standards.
- Regularly inspect work areas, Fleet Shop, and Yard for safety hazards, cleanliness, and organization.
- Adhere to procedures and report incidents promptly. Notify Department Leaders if procedures are not being followed correctly.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance including inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and scheduled service work.
- Monitor parts inventory and notify Department Leaders when reordering is necessary.
- Complete DVIR's as instructed by the Department Manager.
- Collaborate with other departments to share Fleet insights with team members.
- Operate all equipment when assigned.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- CDL A Driver's License.
- DOT Medical Card.
- Quick task-switching ability.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and problems solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of experience in a Mechanic CDL A role, preferred.
- PA State Inspections License (Class 7), preferred.
- AC - (EPA 609) Certified, preferred.
- Welding experience, preferred.
- OSHA-10 Certification, preferred.
- Auto tech experience preferred.
- Machine operating experience, a plus.
- Ability to perform all fleet maintenance work.
- Must be able to drive a CMV.
- Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend knees, and stretch arms.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
