    MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE

    Connect Staffing is looking for an eager Line Operator to join a leading metal manufacturing company in North Houston

    Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:00am

    (Must have a flexible schedule and be available for night shifts)

    Line Operator Requirements:

    • Must have at least one year of machine operating experience.
    • Must be able to pass a background check and a drug test.
    • Must be able to lift 25-45lbs.
    • Prior experience in roles such as Welding, Wire Coiler Assistant, Material Handler, Cable Coiling Technician, Production Line Helper, Warehouse Associate, and Machine Operator Assistant is a big plus

    Line Operator Responsibilities:

    • Helping to set up coiling equipment and machinery before production runs, ensuring everything is in working order.
    • Preparing materials such as wires, cables, or textiles for the coiling process, which may involve measuring, cutting, or straightening.
    • Feeding materials into coiling machines or equipment according to production specifications and ensuring a continuous flow of materials.
    • Monitoring coiling machines during operation, checking for proper functioning, and addressing any issues that arise to minimize downtime.
    • Inspecting coiled products for quality defects, irregularities, or inconsistencies and reporting any issues to supervisors.
    • Providing assistance to coiling machine operators as needed, such as reloading materials, adjusting settings, or troubleshooting minor issues
