    Description

    Job Description

    Worker will be responsible for coding and testing of Java applications using Spring and JSF frameworks, Hibernate, Java web services, Tomcat application server and Oracle database on a team of 2 to 4 members. This full stack worker may assist in converting applications developed in legacy frameworks to Spring. The worker will also assist the team on new project initiatives as well as maintenance of existing applications. Worker will work under the direction of project lead or work independently and may assist in architecting and designing, researching, and prototyping, load testing, code quality checking, application security and other technical needs as required. Please note that JSF and Spring experience is required for this position.

    SALARY RANGE: 90K TO 100K Per Annum

    CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Hands-on experience in development of applications using Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) Platform : Required: 7 years.

    Spring Framework: Required: 5 years.

    JavaServer Faces (JSF): Required: 5 years.

    Unit and System testing of code: Required: 4 years.

    Java RESTful web services using JSON: Required: 4 years.

    JPA, Hibernate or equivalent: Required: 4 years.

    Oracle Database: Required: 4 years.

    AJAX, JBOSS, or Tomcat: Preferred: 3 years.

    Subversion, Eclipse: Preferred: 3 years.

    PowerBI Integration: Preferred: 2 years.

    Infrastructure in Cloud : Preferred: 2 years.

    Microservices architecture : Preferred: 2 years.

    Implementing Lambda function or equivalent: Preferred: 2 years.

    Maven : Preferred: 2 years.

    HTML 5, Any JavaScript Framework : Preferred: 2 years.

    Jersey or equivalent: Preferred: 2 years.

    ThymeLeaf or equivalent : Preferred: 1 year.

    Responsive Design and code to adapt to phones, tablets and other devices : Preferred: 1 year.

    Prototyping : Preferred: 1 year.
