Job Description

The project engineer is the point of contact for all technically related questions for the customers of your designated business segment and portfolio as well as for everyone within the Pauwels organization.

Function:
You read and analyze the incoming specifications from a technical point of view.

You analyze the technical specifications of the customer.

You participate in an internal or external kick-off meeting of each project either at Pauwels or at the customer's site.

You ensure that the engineering department optimizes the transformer design in terms of technical feasibility and cost price, in line with the specifications and expectations of the customer.

You also provide support to the engineers of the study department with technical questions.

You are responsible for the technical information flow to the customer.

You are responsible for the design review of each of your projects.

You follow up the end-product during production and you solve any technical problems.

Profile:
Master's degree in engineering sciences (preferably electromechanics)

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position

Knowledge of transformers is a plus

Knowledge of Dutch and English is a must (or willing to learn it)

Knowledge of German or French is a plus

Solution-oriented, communicative, analytical and taking initiative are competencies that are required.
