- Installation, Design and Administration of various server operating systems, Hyper-V, VMware environments
- Installation, Design and Administration of various manufacturers in routers, switches, and wireless deployments
- Design of network, troubleshoot and resolve advanced networking support needs.
- Lead all rollouts of new network installations including, but not limited to, routers, infrastructure, hardware, servers, and end user equipment
- Generate formal business and technical reports as required by client
- Troubleshoot and repair network hardware, software, and peripherals
- Participate in customer consultations and walkthroughs as needed
- Recommended solutions to clients and sales account executives as required
- Maintain partner, server and other certifications and accreditations as needed.
- Maintain excellent rapport with assigned customer contacts while providing guidance to improve their computing and networking systems
- Manage workload, service call closure and timesheet on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Advanced knowledge of structured cabling and technology solutions industry
- Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and industry regulations
- Advanced knowledge in using network equipment such as cisco routers and ASA's, servers, switches, personal computers, subscriber gateway equipment, and PBX systems
- Advanced knowledge of company products and services
- Advanced knowledge of basis networking concepts and topology
- Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN design
- Advanced knowledge in server configuration and maintenance
- Advanced skill in installing, repairing, and maintaining network equipment
- Skill in using mechanical and electric power tools
- Advanced skill in analytical thinking and problem solving while paying attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as schematics, blueprints, and circuit diagrams
- Advanced ability to evaluate, test and repair sophisticated equipment
- Advanced ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions using information at hand
- Ability to work as needed after hours to prevent interruption to a customer's environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced degree
- Industry recognized certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, or CCSP required
- 10+ years' network support experience required
- Industry standard expert certifications related to advanced network/wireless design or administration with a technical understanding off all service offerings from Endeavor IT.
