    To support our team working out of the San Diego, CA office we are actively seeking a full-time Contract Specialist.

    As a Contract Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. Your responsibilities will contribute to a well-organized work environment and support office events and activities.

    As a Contract Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the meticulous management and execution of agreements critical to our business functions. Your role will include reviewing and drafting contracts and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will play a vital role in safeguarding our organization's interests while facilitating seamless transactions and agreements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of contracts from initiation to closeout, including drafting, negotiating, and finalizing agreements.

    Proposal Writing: Develop compelling proposals in response to RFPs (Request for Proposals) or RFQs (Request for Quotations), outlining our offerings, pricing, and value proposition.

    Consultant Agreement Review: Thoroughly review consultant agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.

    Invoice Tracking

    Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, conducting vendor assessments, and facilitating contract negotiations.

    Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to contractual terms, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

    Document Control: Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and related documents, utilizing electronic databases or document management systems.

    Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, including financial, legal, and performance-related concerns.

    Contract Administration: Monitor contract performance, tracking deliverables, milestones, and expenditures to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.

    Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze contract data to support decision-making processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

    Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional team members, including leadership, marketing, finance, and operations, to facilitate contract negotiations and resolve issues effectively.

    Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to contract management processes, tools, and templates to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.

    Proven experience in contract management, proposal writing, consultant agreement review, procurement, or related area.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contractual terms and conditions.

    Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.

    Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.

    Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
