    Hamilton Lane is looking to expand their Fund Accounting team to satisfy the needs of our growing client base.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Oversee and review of the accounting records and financial reporting of certain HL funds.
    • Supervise the operation of certain HL Funds and the types of investments within their portfolios.
    • Assist with annual audits of our funds
    • Collaborate with external auditors, fund administrators, and other internal resources, as necessary.
    • Understand the importance of client connections and relationships and respond to client and fund investor inquiries working with both internal departments and external administrators to ensure the required level of client service is being provided.
    • Become proficient at utilizing HL Technologies and generating reports and data requests out of various systems.
    • Prepare journal entries and perform quarterly roll-forwards of partner's capital activity for in-house administered funds.
    • Assist in preparing financial statements for in-house administered funds.
    • Assist with ad-hoc requests and special projects.
    • Compile periodic treasury filings required for HL managed funds.
    NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS; Education and/or Experience:
    • 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role
    • BA/BS in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
    • Relevant internship experience preferred.
    • Proven communication and analytical skills, specifically strong attention to detail.
    • Must be proactive, self-starter and able to interact with people who have varied personalities and work styles
    • Proficient with MS Excel.
