    Duties


    • You will review procurement requests to assure clarity, adequacy and completeness
    • You will explain acquisition requirements in conferences and discussions with customers, other DoD activities and with industry representatives
    • You will coordinate with Office of Counsel to resolve various current or pending contractual issues, resolve questions, claims and various types and levels of protests.
    • You will determine contract type, method of solicitation, options determinations, milestones development and sources to be solicited.
    • You will develop source selection criteria for contracts in accordance with organizational policies
    • You will create written documents outlining recommendations to improve acquisition strategies

    • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

    Qualifications For GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
    Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Assisting with pre-award, post award, and administration and closeout of a variety of contracts and acquisition procedures
