    Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

    • Ensure machinery and mechanical equipment functions properly by conducting maintenance (planned and unplanned) on production, packaging, and processing equipment, as well as utility systems.
    • Proficient in troubleshooting Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems.
    • Available for emergency repairs during breakdown situations.
    • Interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals to perform maintenance tasks.
    • Carry out preventative maintenance tasks and maintain manufacturing support systems.
    • Document work orders accurately and promptly in CMMS.
    • Maintain open communication with departments and management regarding production issues.
    • Keep work area clean, sanitary, and safe following safety guidelines and protocols.
    • Take responsibility for maintaining parts and supplies inventory.
    • Adhere to safety standards and regulations set by OSHA and Pregis.
    • Job assignments as directed or required.

    Work Environment

    • Exposure to moving equipment.
    • Indoor work setting.
    • Potential for high temperatures and humidity levels.
    • Noise levels may exceed 85dB.
    • Use of Personal Protective Equipment.

    Physical Characteristics

    • Frequent standing, stooping, and sitting.
    • Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling (up to 50 lbs.).
    • Occasional typing and keyboarding.

    Position Type

    • Full-time employment.
    • Shift work with specified hours.
    • Overtime may be required based on business needs.

    Education and Experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
    • Preferably an Associate's or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
