Job summary
The Division of Behavioral and Mental Health Services (DBMHS) seeks a Project Manager to oversee construction projects.Manages and coordinates construction of building facility infrastructure projects for DBMHS.
Works closely with directors planners maintenance personnel to achieve project objectives implement scopes project plans develop project-specific directives instructions define manages project scopes schedules deliverables ensuring properly planned executed accordance approved scope schedule budget performance measures ensures statements work clearly specify contractor requirements deliverables executes closeout activities reviewing monitoring contract documentation verifying all activities conform standards specifications contract terms coordinates Capital Projects Management Office Environmental Health appropriate authorities ensure required documentation completed prior completion develops budget contingency plans account risks monitors construction costs risk factors schedules funding status tracks funds coordinates finance section timely drawdown appropriate accounts reviews expense reports invoices contractors' monthly progress payment requests monitors receipts disbursements ensure completed time budget quality standards participates public meetings addresses challenges identifying implementing solutions technical advice recommendations conducts reviews assessments site inspections ensure compliance approved plans regulatory requirements professional standards oversees management activities ensures quality assurance assigned projects requires bachelor degree related field OR equivalent combination education experience favorable background investigation possession valid state driver license special knowledge skills abilities principles practices landscaping architecture mechanical electrical water civil engineering methods practices used design construction capital projects planning scheduling budgeting methodologies negotiation administration construction management federal state Navajo Nation laws rules regulations guidelines related facility infrastructure construction occupational environmental safety health regulations material specifications standards control management administrative principles practices responding requests assistance developing reports documentation planning implementing overseeing compliance safety health protection inspection proficient use computers tools review interpret plans compliance engineering standards conduct effective meetings monitor status budgets compute quantities estimates evaluate bids change orders demonstrate communication interpersonal skills
