    This position is located in Milwaukee, WI working with the Financial Institution Group (FIG). The FIG group works primarily with financial institutions across the banks footprint.

    Products and services offered to financial institutions include:

    asset/liability modeling and consulting, fixed income sales, investment portfolio analysis and strategy, municipal credit analysis, brokered deposits, investment portfolio accounting, custody and hedging solutions.

    The candidate will be responsible for performing fixed income portfolio analytics and other ad hoc investment analysis reports. Will also assist with the asset liability modeling process. This person will also have the opportunity to work with the fixed income sales force to generate portfolio strategies. Candidate will also be responsible for assisting the asset/liability team model balance sheets for risk assessment.

    This position will primarily be in office with possibility of a hybrid work model depending on student's schedule and business needs.


    Responsibilities:
    Support the production of generating client ready investment portfolio analytics

    Regularly update and maintain investment analytics software database (BondEdge)
    Upload and process investment portfolios
    Continually look for ways to improve the process

    Collaborate with team to develop analytical models to support portfolio strategy implementation
    Conduct ad-hoc research on current issues affecting certain fixed income sectors
    Staying up to date on relevant financial news and economic reports impacting fixed income markets
    Assist in creating client materials including meeting presentations
    Assist the asset/liability team in modeling balance sheets for asset/liability assessments

    Qualifications:
    Pursuing undergraduate degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, statistics or economics
    Ability to work 20-30 hours/week during school and full-time during summer
    Passion for investing and financial markets
    Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
    Strong PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint applications

    Programming experience preferred but not required (i.e. Excel VBA, Python, SQL, etc.)

    Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
    Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
    Paid internship while gaining practical experience working alongside fixed income market participants
    Gain better understanding of fixed income market concepts such as security valuation, trading and portfolio management strategies
    Develop professional connections and relationships
