    Description
    Description: Reporting to the VP of US Property Tax, the Account Manager is responsible for developing relationships and understanding needs for key accounts with regional or national portfolios.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Managing engagements and maintaining client relationships
    • Supervising day-to-day tasks for successful engagement completion (assessment appeals, tax bill payment, etc.)
    • Reviewing work product and developing analysts' and consultants' skillset
    • Data analysis and tax research
    • Collaborating with state and local officials on property tax matters
    • Building client relationships and professional networks through regular contact with partners, clients, prospective clients, and state and local tax officials
    • Developing a property tax skillset through continuing education
    • Contributing to practice development by identifying process improvements and market trends
    • Supporting business development as a subject matter expert

    Key Qualifications:
    • Property tax experience required (real property/real estate)
    • Familiarity with property tax budgeting, forecasting, and accruals
    • Experience with property tax software preferred (e.g. itamlink, OPT, PTMS)
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
    • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
    • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, reporting, diagrams, and presentations)
