    Position: Senior Tax Accountant
    Location: Trenton, NJ(Hybrid)
    Duration: Full-time

    Your Primary Responsibilities Would Include, But Not Be Limited To:

    • Tax projections and expert advice on tax planning strategies to optimize clients' tax positions.
    • Preparation of personal and business tax returns for clients in multiple States.
    • Complete, review, and analyze tax documentation for business and personal returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Supervise and provide guidance to a team of remote tax staff, ensuring that accuracy and deadlines are met.
    • Provide GAAP and policy support, performance management, ongoing training and development, goal setting, and support for continued team growth.
    • Leading tax engagements and communicating directly with clients throughout the year.
    • Communicate the progress of engagements, issues, and resolutions to clients through written and verbal correspondence.
    • Resolving tax issues and communicating with the IRS if needed.
    • Lead tax kick-off meetings and onboarding calls with clients.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • CPA preferred
    • Experience and knowledge in preparing individual and business tax returns.
    • Experience and knowledge in tax planning and multi-state issues.
    • We prefer someone who has a minimum of 5 years experience working with multiple clients, and at least a bachelor's or master's in Accounting/Business.
    • Experience supervising a team.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a willingness to meet with clients in an advisory capacity.
    • Possess the ability to utilize, and develop an advanced understanding of various tax programs and software.
    • Enjoy the fast-paced personality of entrepreneurial business people.
