    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years nursing experience required.

    Sunbelt Staffing is searching for a dedicated Travel Cardiac Transplant RN to join our team in Rochester, NY

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, and administration of medications, to individuals in the Cardiac Stepdown unit.
    • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
    • Monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry readings, and promptly respond to any changes or abnormalities.
    • Assist in the management of post-operative patients, including wound care, pain management, and patient education.
    • Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records.

    Requirements:

    • Valid RN license in the state of New York.
    • Minimum of two years of recent, related experience as a Cardiac Stepdown RN.
    • Strong clinical skills in critical care, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
    • Proficient in cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and administering cardiac medications.
    • Familiarity with Swan Ganz catheters a plus.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
