    We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our large Healthcare System client in Brooklyn, NY on a permanent/direct hire basis. This organization is one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the region, and provides a range of health services include home care, hospice and palliative care for adults and children, rehabilitation and nursing care. They also offer health plans for Medicare and dual-eligible individuals.

    This permanent Salesforce Developer role offers a competitive salary in the $100K - $123K range commensurate on experience plus competitive benefits. This person will work mostly remote and will come into the Brooklyn offices 1 day/week on Wednesdays.

    Responsibilities:
    • Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities.
    • Customization: Develop custom Salesforce applications, objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, approval processes, and other customization using Salesforce declarative tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.
    • Apex Development: Write Apex code to implement complex business logic and integrate Salesforce with external systems.
    • Visualforce and Lightning Component Development: Create components to enhance user experience and meet specific business needs.
    • Integration: Integrate Salesforce with other systems such as ERP, marketing automation, or custom applications using APIs (SOAP, REST), middleware (like MuleSoft), or built-in tools like Salesforce Connect.
    • Data Management: Design and implement data migration strategies to import data into Salesforce from external sources. Develop data transformation scripts and manage data quality within Salesforce.
    • Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests for Apex code and perform comprehensive testing of customizations to ensure high-quality solutions. Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by users.
    Required Skills/Experience:
    • 2+ years experience within Salesforce development
    • Experience designing, customizing, configuring, and possesses the ability to do some user training
    • Understand how to develop and deploy custom business logic and custom interfaces using the programmatic capabilities of the Lightning Platform (flow, Apex)
    • Bug fixing, troubleshooting, provide general platform support and profile resets
    • Experience with Health Cloud is optimal, or healthcare platform experience, or field service lightning
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technical related field or equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of browser languages and experience working with websites
    • Knowledge of JavaScript and all forms of HTML
    • Experience with the Google Marketing suite
    • Good understanding and experience with using the declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce Platform and know when to use programmatic methods
    • Solid knowledge of the Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Cloud
    • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption
    • Strong understanding of best practices and functionality
    • Ability to be highly productive, both working alone and in close collaboration within a team, able to multi-process and thrive in a fast-paced, customer driven environment
    • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
    • Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    Preferred Skills/Experience:
    • Knowledge of Health Cloud, FSL, DocuSign, DemandTools, CTI integrations and REST APIs are a plus
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or CRM Analytics is preferred
    • Previous experience working in an agile environment
    • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
    • Strong understanding of HIPAA and other applicable regulatory requirements
    • Prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools a plus
    • Minimum 1-year experience in a health plan or managed care setting preferred.
