    Description

    Lantern Pharma is seeking a meticulous and highly-organized Financial Analyst to assist with organizing and streamlining our operational efficiencies. This is a full-time hybrid position located in Atlanta.

    The ideal future team member will have a mix of financial skills and experience with an appreciation of biopharma and scientific concepts. This team member will wear multiple hats while working closely with our Corporate Finance team. Primary job duties include Subject Matter Expert with QuickBooks Online and assisting with the process for preparation of financial information and supporting documents for public company reporting.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ● Work with Lantern's CFO and Senior Finance Manager to process vendor invoices, make vendor payments, and track vendor receipts

    ● Develop and implement new financial policies and processes around Accounts Payable and QuickBooks Online

    ● Partner with vendors to continue AP efficiencies and report in period vendor expenses for accounting close

    ● Review and process reimbursements

    ● Monthly and end of quarter reporting document preparation for auditor review

    ● Ensure all company documents are well-maintained, organized, and secure

    ● Stay current with applicable regulations, requirements, and laws

    ● Provide quarterly documentation for internal controls requirements for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance

    ● Provide assistance to staff, managers, and company executives as needed

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    ● Minimum requirement Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

    ● 5+ years related work experience

    ● 5+ years experience in managing QuickBooks accounting software for journal entries and reporting

    ● Outstanding financial and analytical skills

    ● Experience assisting with preparation of financial information for public company reporting.

    ● Understand the translation of financial data into actionable information

    ● Ability to keep the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality is required

    ● Strong task and time management skills required

    ● Experience with Microsoft Suite, as well as Google Suite

    ● Must be a self-starter who is detail-oriented and self-motivated with strong reasoning skills

    ● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
