    - $300,000 per year A bit about us: Our New York office (located in Manhattan) is seeking an experienced Associate or Counsel-level Attorney to join our growing Insurance Coverage practice.


    This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters involving coverage analysis, declaratory judgments, bad faith defense, and extra-contractual liability for a diverse roster of domestic and international insurers.

    Job Details Key Responsibilities Provide coverage opinions and strategic advice on a wide range of policies (e.g., CGL, professional liability, first-party property, and specialty lines) Handle litigation involving duty to defend/indemnify disputes, policy exclusions, bad faith claims, and inter-company disputes Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging issues (e.g., COVID-19 business interruption, construction defects, cyber exposures) Collaborate with partners on client counseling, claims resolution, and trial preparation Support business development efforts within the practice Requirements J.D.


    from an accredited law school and active admission to the New York Bar 3–10 years of insurance coverage experience at a law firm or in-house with an insurer (bad faith and extra-contractual liability experience a plus) Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with a track record of handling complex coverage matters Ability to manage multiple cases independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment Excellent client communication skills and a proactive, results-driven approach Experience in New York-specific insurance law and federal court practice preferred Interested in hearing more?
