- Oversees front desk operations and manages incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Aids in overseeing key equipment, facility management, and essential services within the Neurosciences Research Building (NB) and Biotechnology and Research Training Center (BRTC).
- Ensures upkeep and maintenance of essential equipment in the Neuroscience Research Building, diagnosing and resolving issues as necessary.
- Manages Core Lab/Shared space facilities, including a variety of equipment and supplies, to support daily activities.
- Participates in proper disposal of waste materials, maintains regulatory compliance, and handles necessary paperwork.
- Handles general lab management tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory maintenance, and mail handling.
- Coordinates the relocation of sensitive equipment as required, including managing CO2 and compressed air tanks.
- Performs other relevant duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., HSED or GED).
- 1 year of pertinent work experience.
- Aptitude for following instructions.
- Proficient in laboratory practices and safety protocols.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Quick learner with adept problem-solving skills.
- Skilled in training and teaching.
