Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Cashier to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and processing transactions accurately. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality to ensure every guest has a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm welcome.

- Manage the flow of guests during busy periods, maintaining an organized waiting list.

- Take and process customer orders using the Aloha POS system efficiently.

- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.

- Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assisting customers with inquiries and reservations.

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and guest satisfaction.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining spaces.

- Assist in training new staff on guest services and POS operations as needed.

Experience

- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not required.

- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
