    Job SummaryThe Assistant Director of Marketing will be a key contributor to our marketing team, focusing on engaging our audience, driving brand awareness, and promoting ticket sales through captivating content and strategic social media management. This role requires a creative storyteller with a passion for the festival and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and platforms.

    Responsibilities
    • Social Media Management: Maintain the brand aesthetic and develop/execute a comprehensive social media strategy to grow our online presence, increase engagement, and drive ticket sales across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube. Plan and execute targeted social media advertising campaigns to reach specific demographics, promote ticket sales, and drive traffic to our website.

      Content Creation: Conceptualize, produce, and curate compelling content, including photos, videos, graphics, and written posts, that showcase the Texas Renaissance Festival's unique attractions, characters, and experiences.

      Community Engagement:
      Foster meaningful connections with our audience by actively engaging with
      followers, responding to comments and messages, and participating in relevant
      online conversations to enhance brand loyalty and advocacy.

      Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors to amplify our reach, increase brand awareness, and drive ticket sales through authentic endorsements and partnerships.

      Live Coverage: Provide live coverage of the festival during event days, capturing behind-the-scenes moments, performances, and guest experiences to share in real-time on social media platforms.

      Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media metrics and analytics to track performance, measure campaign effectiveness, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Prepare regular reports to evaluate the success of social media efforts and inform future strategies.

      Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all social media channels and marketing materials.

      Basic Administrative Task – as needed to assist the director and upper management in relation to marketing.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred
    • Previous experience as an Assistant Marketing Coordinator or similar position
    • Understanding of digital marketing tools and research methods
    • Knowledge of search engine optimization techniques
    • Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google AdWords, and web analytics
    • Familiarity with Content Management Software
